Carrying the momentum into Malaysia
Aprilia Racing head back to Europe for the penultimate test of the 2025 MotoGP season, paying a visit to the stunning Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal. The 15-corner track features an almost kilometre-long front straight, allowing the riders to put their foot down as they race towards the end of the season.
It’s a track that Bezzecchi has had mixed results on, finishing 15th on his debut before securing 3rd and 6th in his subsequent appearances. It’ll be a record that the Italian will be hoping to better following a disappointing, by his standards at least, showing at the weekend.
In Malaysia, Bezzecchi finished 6th and 11th in the Sprint and race, respectively, and finds himself third overall ahead of the final two races. With 1st and 2nd in the standings all tied up, bronze is the last medal up for grabs, and with just a five-point gap on the riders below, it'll be going down to the wire.
