Rolo is like a dog with a bone at times – when he gets one, he devours it like homework. The formidable rottweiler loves taking his human helpers for a walk. What he doesn’t love is cats, vets, new slippers, new tricks, potted plants, postal workers, cars, cyclists, dog cones, oranges, lemons, direct eye contact with strangers, strangers in general, sedatives crushed into delicious hunks of meat that have been tossed over the security gate, and being dressed up in a pink tutu at Halloween (don’t ask).

Barking at strangers: Some people will chat with literally anyone who crosses their path. But Rolo isn’t a person, is he?
